Now, when I said..'elephant' ...did u think of the word 'elephant'.. .or the sound of an elephant...or its touch ( if ever u got a bang with its trunk on your head ..outside some temple)..
probably not.

You would have, most likely, got just a 'picture' of an elephant.

In all ( except 5)...you would have thought of a 'picture' of what I asked u to think.

So, as is explained in many theories...

'mental images' are very powerful.
Because, we process,understand all the events of our life through images related to them.
Memories of the past are also stored as a picture album!!..and this album...just gets updated everyday!

But, how is it more poweful than the power of will?
simple...you would have visualised a puppy even when the sentence read 'dont think of a puppy'.
Whether i say...think of rose..or dont think of a rose...u will anyway think about it.

So, our brain does not process , sub-consciously, ..the word "dont"..this is where ...images overtake will.

ok..the reason why we cannot picturise... Lewis Carol...is because...we have never seen his pic.
Whereas...atleast u would have thought of long mustache..when i said Veerappan.

hmm..so then , how do blind people interpret the events in their life?
Other senses might be more powerful...like the sense of smell, auditory, touch.
Yet...when you say..the moon is beautiful today...thats just a sentence for them.nothing more.

probably thats why.....
